    Hoping the weather is going to clear up because the kiddies have requested a picnic today!:eek:

    Anyone know anywhere nice?

    Fota House & Gardens is great for a picnic. Lovely setting with plenty of space for the kids to run around and only €3 for a carload.

    Thanks for suggestions.went to fota but it was too wet so went to the heritage centre in Cobh and then had a picnic had the side of the road! They thought it was great craic!!!!

    The Lee fields on the sundays well side of the river is lovely

    For future reference, Ballincollig Regional Park is a gorgeous spot. Acres of land so bring a football / frisbee / etc., lovely river walk and also a skate park. All free. :-)
