Guys any advise. I am looking to get a light mod for my 308, currently have a T8 which does a great job reducing noise but is quite heavy. Any of you tried anything different/lighter? dont want to increase noise to save on weight. Any ideas on prices?

Rhoedale are the lightest Mod I have held in my hand.
    Really well made too.

My ASE S5 is heavy ish but very short and compact

I would like one for my varmint rifle as the stalking rifle is so short the extra weight is hardly noticed

Here is an ASE S5 Vs a Reflex just to get idea on size

Roedale are about the same weight as an empty bag of Taytos.

    I've a Roedale light weight (aluminium) on my 308 & 30-06
adds about 6inches to the barrel but adds no weight.
You can get one from Edi Graffe in Kinsale.
Pm me if you need his number or he posts here himself.

By the way, an end of barrel mod like a Roedale, T4 etc will not be as quiet as an over barrel moderator such as a T8 wildcat as there is less room for the gas to expand.
