i wouldnt consider myself one of those overly protective brothers, i would actually be the far opposite and not give a c.rap. at the start i use to make an effort making friends with the new members of the family and sometimes enjoyed it. but when that new member of the families face changes so often you begin to wonder whether you should waste your time with these freeloaders and not bother making an effort? does anyone else feel the same> is it acceptable to hate these clowns?

Hate them? I'd be of the opinion they'd have to fear me and my 2 other brothers as well.

I just try and make them feel really uncomfortable and awkward for the first few months. If they manage to stick that out then I tend to leave them alone.

How about you find yourself a lady friend and you become one of those "fcukers" in somebody else's house?

That way, you're getting a bit of jiggy jiggy plus you don't have to look at your sister's boyfriends in the morning. Everyone's a winner!

I don't think I'll ever understand that- my brother wouldn't give two sheeytes who I was going out with.

Obviously he'd intervene if the fella was getting slap happy or robbing money or he was Larry Murphy or whatever- but other than that, my brother wouldn't care. Why would he?

My brother's a legend, love him to bits, so it's not like we're not close. But I don't think my love life is something he'd want to know about to be honest!

Was talking to OH about this and he says "It's because she's my sister, and no matter how nice a guy he is I know what he's doing to my little sister, and what he's getting her to do to him, and I don't like it one bit."

I guess it's something to do with the mental image of the little sister on her knees in front of this guy while he's saying 'Take it, bitch', and so forth.

Well thankfully my brother's not a weirdo who would be thinking of this.

    Men are weird :pac:

All you know is that he hasn't told you what he really thinks of your bf, for all you know your brother has a voodoo doll of the man who's violating his darling sister.

It's not the fella's fault your sister's a slapper, give him (them?) a chance.
