anyone think they are good / bad ... i do little off road biking .. and alot of road use.. i like long distance cycling but i dont like the idea of having to fix flat tyres along my way so feel this would be a good idea .. but is it the same feel as a tubed wheel ?

    thanks in advance

    Alan

You will save weight by not having tubes, you still get flats depending on what gets stuck in your tyres as to how quickly the hole seals up...

You can buy a tubeless conversion kit for around €40... UST tyres are a bit more expensive, usually around €100 a pair depending..

Not worth it for a mainly on road cycling...

I don't notice much difference in feel on my tubeless mountain bike. You can run a lower pressure for more grip if you want, but I do XC so I keep mine inflated quite high.
Tyres are more expensive plus its a good idea to put something like stans or joe's sealant inside.
I wouldn't bother for just road riding
