I have, and the only trouble I have with it is getting a hold of it in shops - I know you can buy it in Nourish but they're taking the plss with the price they charge. Apart from that it's a wonderful food - very versatile and tasty. If you need to figure out something to do with it google quinoa and tempeh

Normally cut into 1 inch squares, marinated in a chili/tamari/oil marinade and fried then you can add it to a green salad or a couscous based salad.

They sell big blocks of tempeh for 2.50 in the Asia Market on Drury Street in Dublin.

I make tempeh bacon with it. Slice into very thin strips, boil them for 2-3 minutes, dip the slices in a mixture of soya sauce and smoked paprika then bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. It makes a really nice breakfast.

That's one idea, but there's no end to the amount of things you can do with it, as has been said, it's a pretty versatile food.

I apologise in advance for this silly question, but where exactly is the tempeh in the Asia Market? I look for it every time but I've never been able to find it. I assumed it was in the fridge near or around the tofu but I can never see it and it's driving me nuts, I must have walked the length of the fridge section thirty times trying to spot it.

You're in the right area, it used to be beside the tofu, but they've moved it to about 3-4 feet away now. It's out of stock half the time though, so that could be it too...

Perfect, I'll give it another go this weekend! The out of stock thing could explain why I've missed it, sometimes I've gone in there and they're even out of tofu- I guess Saturday evening is a terrible shopping time!

3 or 4 feet which way - I was in there 2 weeks ago and couldn't see any, but then again as you said; it's out of stock a lot.

They had tempeh in Nourish on Wicklow Street on Friday. It's in the back fridge but it was stuffed in sideways so the label saying it was tempeh wasn't immediately viewable when you look in. Middle shelf, beside tofu if I remember correctly!
