We received one a couple of months ago, and I think it is a great idea.

Spook are you foreign or is your wife foreign or were you ever living in another country? It's a great idea until they stop your money when you don't see the letter or it gets lost in the post! Some people I know have never heard of these letters, so I'm curious very curious. Starting to think of the word discrimination. Losing out on something because I'm being perceived as different.

I received one just over a year ago as well. Nothing since. I think they're a good idea as well.

I'm Irish and received one last year. Completely forgot to send it back and payment was stopped about two months later. I telephoned them and they confirmed that payment was stopped because the form wasn't returned. I sent the form back at that stage and had a cheque in the post within a couple of days. Many of my friends who are also Irish received these form in the last year or two.

I think they are a great idea. I'd have no problem filling it out.

I don't think this is a suitable topic for this forum.OP pm me with reasons for the thread to be reopened.
