Either it is her and they refuse to get her (in which there could be unbelievable drama coming up), or it isn't her because they know exactly what happened to her.

I think the thing that struck me most about their story was when on the Late Late Show, the wife kept emphasizing over and over about to buy their book and it's the only way to "help Madeleine" because "all of the information is in the book". Surely if they were concerned about information getting out, they could put it all up on a website with all of her photographs just as easily as in a book. That's not the only thing weird about the interview though, they were making a lot of mistakes, finishing each other's sentences, etc. Now I've vigorously defended people over conspiracy theories before, and I was skeptical about this theory before, but when they are interviewed you can see that there's something strange going on.

As some of the comments on Daily Mail are saying there, children can look incredibly different 4 years later, totally different to how they look originally. You could not tell by photographic evidence whether it was them or not, and any parents who were that desperate would be clambering over themselves for a meeting, DNA tests and everything in between. This idea they would just look at a few photographs and then go back to campaigning seems just absolutely loopy. I get the feeling that they do their basic homework on this, practice together and such, would try not to be caught by spying, but they're really not very bright at times in trying to get away with this.

Oh man - I hate being asked to choose X or Y in an OP so I stopped being interested at that point.
