Ok, what player has played first team football for, amongst others, Real Madrid, Marseille, Manchester United, and Rayo Vallecano.

Another clue is that he made history for non footballing reasons when he first represented his country at both U-21 level and full international level.

Lincoln Cunnigham? He was the first black player to play for england anyway which is fairly historic and definitely played for Madrid

Just guessing on the basis that he was French, and played for Man Utd. Is it that French lad Utd had on loan in 93 or 94, I can't remember his name, but he was bald, as in Barthez bald?

    ^for Spurs

Best known for a World Cup game in which he cleared a shot from a player off the line but in doing so, he fell on the net and snapped the post, causing the goal frame to cave in. After an ten-minute stoppage, a new net was brought in and play continued.

    What player broke the net?

Four players have each scored hat-tricks for three different clubs: Nicolas Anelka (Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City); Kevin Campbell (Arsenal, Everton and Nottingham Forest); Les Ferdinand (Newcastle United, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur) and Teddy Sheringham (Manchester United, Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur).

    Can I ask a question ?

What was significant about the goal that Jody Morris scored for Chelsea against Sheffield Wednesday and the goal that Branko Strupar scored for Derby against Watford 5 days later.

Jody Morris was the last goal of the millennium in the PL and I'm guessing the next was the first of the next millennium in the PL?

    Well done

Actually I think it was in all of England.

Morris got the last goal of the only game on the night of 29/12/99 and Strupar scored after 2mins on 03/01/00
