SoundMagic MP21 Earphones not working with Samsung Galaxy S

    Hi guys

    Just got a pair of these delivered from Amazon

    The problem is they don't actually seem to work as headset/mic for the galaxy and even when listening to music it's all distorted with none of the vocals coming through unless i keep the button on the mic control pressed down in which case the music then comes through fine.

    My question is, is there any way to get it working (adaptor etc)? Or does anyone know if I could return them to amazon even if it is my own fault for buying an incompatible product??

    My friend had the same problem with a different set of headphones (which also had a mic).

    Running the headphones through a cheap headphone splitter solved the problem.
