    Well I need 4gb and something small sized so its portable. Is it good value is what I`m asking I suppose or is there alternatives in that price rang I should be looking at?

    Well without knowing what all you are using it for it's hard to say. I wouldn't buy anything with Intel HD Graphics myself when AMD Vision is so widely available, and this particular model doesn't seem to include a NUM pad.

    Since you'll only be using it for Solitaire, and nothing else, you should be fine :pac: By this I mean, what do you plan on using it for? Work, college, porn, gaming?

    Oh, and as it has a sh|tty "Intel® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator HD" it'll be useless for most things that need 4GBs.

    Hate NUM pads anyway. What would the graphics card affect, I don`t game or watch movies?

    Everything? Windows Aero uses Graphics. Your Web Browser even uses Graphics, as do all of those annoying flash ads on the web pages you visit. Your Photo Editing and Movie editing, use graphics. Irrespective of whether you game or watch HD movies your GPU has a significant impact on overall performance.

    Dell are devent value, and it seems to have good specs for the price.

    I know the hinges on previous Inspirons were crappy, and gave Dell laptops a bad name(among people I know anyway). It was an isolated problem really.
