Nicolas Winding Refn's second feature after his expolsive debut Pusher, Starring the same leads in Kim Bodnia and Mads Mikkelsen, both giving amazing performances especially Bodnia. Its not held in the same regrads as his Pusher trilogy or Bronson, some saw it as a disappointment when first released. But for me, its a far darker and nastier film, Watching Bodnia a walking ticking bomb ready to go off is creepy as hell. The only light comes from Mikkelsen, as a video store loner trying to find love. Its a tough watch but well worth seeking out.
