LPH conversion

    Hi guys,

    I am wodering how much it would be to convert Petrol Toyota Lancruiser 80 series (1996 model) to Petrol/LPG? is there a plaace where they do it in Ireland?

    No one installs it in the south anymore, you can get it done in the North, about £1400.

    You would be bonkers to install LPG and sell it on.

    Don't know where your exporting it to, but its a pain to import a foreign LPG conversion here in NL or in Germany.

    The whole thing has to be certified :(

    @keithclancy: certified by whom? I assumed that every who is installing would have been certified, no?

    Did you convert your machine to lpg?

    How is it doing economy/ power wise?

    It has to be installed by a Certified installer in the country its being registered or be certified when you import it.

    Dekra and TUV in Germany.

    Dekra + RDW in the Netherlands.

    Essentially your paying a garage to give it the whole once over again and replace any bits (nozzle for example in Germany is different)

    Looked into importing one from the UK last year, total nightmare.
