    Hi,

123 have just sent out my renewal quote for this year, on the no claims bonus page that they sent me it says that i have 6 years no claims, i checked last years quote and that also says 6 years,

Is this a mistake should they of put 7 years or do they stop at 6?

so if somebody has been driving for 15 years no claims are insurance company's supposed to put that down on there no claims bonus?

just looking to find out as i want to shop around

The NCB discount scale runs from 0 to 5. 6 is used to ascertain if an individual is above the 5 year mark.

You can get no higher than you are. ( in NCB terms that is :p )

Quick tip: I renewed with 123 the other week, rang around and no one bet their price. Chanced my arm on their website, got a better quote than their renewal one, rang them up and renewed for €50 cheaper :)

i got my renewal quote from 123, who are now going through RSA 386 euro
i got a quote from tesco who also go through RSA 249 euro

you should always check around for a better price.
