Aphasia Supports

I work for an acquired brain injury organisation, and recently we have seen an influx of young people with aphasia accessing our services. There does seem to be a few support groups out there for older people who have strokes, and then developed aphaisa, but nothing for the younger person.

I'm wondering does anyone know of any resources for young people with aphasia? Or anyone have had any exsperience of this themselves?

Also, what type of career option would people suggest for those with expressive aphasia? It seems like for every job out there, you need great communication skills. It is very frustrating for someone with Aphaisa as they still have the intelligence and drive, but just have difficulty finding the right works to say or write!

    Any help/info would be appreciated.
