    I was wondering, this might sound absurd, if I could record the sound of some of the rides, preferrably off peak or outside working hours so it would be a bit quieter.

    what do you mean by sounds? as in the music ? the jingles from the machines ( pay at the paybox ~) this is number 1 etc or the general noise ?
    you can get jingles free on you tube
