received summons for traffic offence turned up in court not on list case not called!!

    I was in court today as i received a summons for a traffic offence. when i turned up my solicitor advised me that my case wasnt on the court list and then I wasnt called. im confused as to how this can happen will I be re-issued with this summons or is that an end to it??? i really dont know what the situation is anyone else had this happen?

    Summons was withdrawn before the return date. Happens sometimes. You are in the clear.

    Are you sure a friend of mine said i will most likely be issued with another summons??
