As a genuine rule of thumb the girl should empty her bowels as thoroughly as possible and have a shower and wash her self as thoroughly as possible. Pornstars often have enemas before big anal sex scenes. Your girlfriend may consider taking a mild laxative, even something like tea or coffee an hour or two before.

Having said that, anal intercourse can be like a plunger effect on the large intestine and cause more faeces to enter the rectum, so you may still see some discharge. It isn't obviously something particularly pleasant or sexy but if you're that squeamish maybe you should stick to vaginal sex.

Seeing this is your first time I'd strongly advise you to be patient. You should be fine though, as pointed out already it's not like the poo is stored all that close to the point of exit.
