Had a look at it there. To be honest it's awful stuff. Totally laugh-free and nobody in it can act.

So, it will probably get commissioned by Network 2 any day now.

Does David McSavage have anything to do with this? Seems like his level of "humour".

It's nicely filmed, the faces are good as is the situation.
    It repeats too much.
For a girl who spend all day in an office on her own on the phone there's a lot of letters going out, should have put a boss in making her look busy while he's there.
Lastly, does it all take place in an office or is it about the couriers? That should be clearer.
I know it sounds negative but you did ask.

    Couple of problems:

    1. It's essentially the same joke over and over again in the promo which is way too long and slow. You could have shown all those guys in and out in less than a minute - 30 secs even and made it much punchier and increase the likelihood that people would laugh.

    2. From watching it it's not obvious whether the show is about the receptionist or the couriers. Perhaps it's both - although I can't imagine there's much shelf life in that considering it was basically a one joke promo.

    wow.

I was encouraged to see that it looked nice at the start.

Unfortunately it went downhill then. The white wall shine to the lady's right side seemed a bit much. Then just a joke about a cliché for 3 minutes.

Seemed unrealistic on her behalf imo. A lady in her position saying "aww, it's just a courier", then making a face and making an effort to turn away from the courier while obviously talking about hair stuff, making sure they knew she was throwing her condescendance in their face. She doesn't seem like she'd have the balls, she's not portrayed in a way that makes her seem dumb or anything. In the end it just felt like I watched different shots of a girl being rude for 3 minutes.

So yea, what everyone above said too. Even though right now I'm at "not a chance in hell will i click a link of that name again", I think there's some good technical stuff in it, so well done. The room is a little too reverberant for the office environment and doesn't work with the shouting so well. The shot of a boss or something, mentioned above, would go a long way too.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the feadback, I was the DP on the show and edited the Promo together. It was a last minute thing, We had this location for another few hours so the Director wanted to shoot a promo (he was a Courier or Gurrier *as the novel the show is based off is called).

the Pilot all takes place in the Base were the Courier's work at, thanks for all the feadback as always :D

It was suppose to be an introduction to the character's and how different there approaches are, but its what the director wanted and i was happy to shoot it. The woman character is not in the TV pilot episode.
