The Atari Jaguar was a console released in the early-ish 90s that was a commercial failure.

Its use is strictly limited to being a poll option, I think the original poll asked about what console you liked (or something). Atari Jaguar was bundled in as Other / Atari Jaguar.
Somehow this stuck and appeared on unrelated polls... not unlike your ma.

One good reason not to search boards for "Atari Jaguar", I don't think the servers (or the hamster) are up to the search. There is a poll somewhere on whether Atari Jaguar should be included in all future polls, the result was an outstanding yes.
