i am flying to the US next Tuesday , never been in T2 but had the "experience" of going through the US pre-clearance in T1. took forever and loads of people had to skip to the front otherwise they would miss their planes.

so what the new one like, how long does it take to get through the whole thing, a rough guess as i know its based on how many on each flight.

what do they require as i already filled out the ESTA?

are we talking picture , finger prints , retaina scans as i had none of that the last time.

    What time is your flight?

If you're on CO23 OR US723 you'll breeze through quick enough. Fingerprint,Iris scan, check your details and identify your luggage and hand in your Customs form. Not much longer than the previous scenario in Pier B.

Peak time is around 10.30 - 12.00,you'd want to allow an hour for processing if you're on DL165,DL177,EI121,EI125. The que shouldn't be too bad for the earlier flights and the EI137 to BOS at 14.10.

LOL. Don't know why i put it arseways, yeah it takes your pic. Quite cool to see a pic of your luggage too.

Also, once you've passed the OCS document check you're registered as having entered the USCBP hall for processing and the airlines know you're there so won't go without you.

I'd say 08.30 should do you for AA93,processed by 09.00 and begin boarding around 09.20.
