Confused over skin type

Hey - some advice for my skin would be great. Am nearing 40 now.
Very oily forehead, nose and chin with large deep pores. Frequent spots around jaw line, under sides of lips some on cheeks - very mild acne.

Am using the dermalogica range for oily skin.

For past few months am starting to get wrinkly skin quiet noticable around smile lines!

    I now have oily/acne/aging skin.

Any one else in same boat? Am only using an oil free day time moisturiser but feel I should be using something firmer. I use a bog standard night cream.

Anyone recomend some tried and tested skincare products for us aging ladies with teenage skin still?

    Hi OP

you say you've used Dermalogica products. Have you ever had a Dermalogica facial? I try to have these regularly and my facialist can usually assess my skin and tell me what to use in certain parts. Hope this helps.

Oily skin may seem like a curse at times but people with it have been proven to get fewer wrinkles and signs of ageing so think of it more as a blessing in disguise. To be 40 and have oily skin is a good sign, just wash and cleanse your face in the morning and night. Try not to stress, that won't help matters at all!

I don't use any anti-ageing creams (Yet! :D) but seriously, I am sceptical of them. I wouldn't take their guarantees at face value at all.
