Gift Ideas For Sister's 18th Birthday

    Hi,

As you can probably gauge from the title I'm looking for suggestions for a birthday present for my sister's 18th birthday next week.

I have a terrible rack record for getting presents for my family members and I don't want to continue that for this birthday so any suggestions/advice welcome :)

Her best friend suggested a necklace and I was thinking something along the lines of a birthstone necklace like this but turns out her boyfriend already got her one :(

Also, getting her perfume is a no-no.

    So, any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks.

This place is fairly dead man. I'm looking for a bit of advice here too but looking at previous posts (or lack of) I don't think I'll get any.

Your best bet is to ask some of her friends on facebook what she would like or e-mail them links of gift ideas and ask them what they think.

How about concert tickets? Any gigs coming up that she might like? Or sports events? If she's a bit broke a voucher for her hairdressers?

Sadly the forum is a little quiet, it would be great if users looking for help would give ideas on other threads. It's not a forum that has regulars really!
