    Howdy,

    We are an organization with a mission to deliver innovative programmes for learning and mastering digital skills!

    Our new upcoming course is targeting graduates who want to develop their existing knowledge and skills, and previous employment experience, by reskilling in Digital Media production & application development for these occupational roles:

    Digital Media Application Developer / Programmer
    Web & Interface Graphic Designer
    Digital Media Production Manager / Project Manager
    Online Marketing, Sales & Communications Executive/Manager
    Digital Media Copy Writer, Editor & Information Designer
    Web Video Producer

    Certification: WebElevate is a Level 8 Programme on the NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications), offering a CPD Professional Diploma in Digital Media Production (60 ECTS / Credits), awarded by Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).

    Eligibility: You must be unemployed for a period of at least 6 months prior to the course start date with a previous history of employment
    and be in receipt of one of the following payments from the Department of Social Protection: Jobseekers Benefit, Jobseekers Allowance or One Parent Family Payment
    or
    be signing for social insurance contribution credits
    and be actively seeking employment
    *For the purposes of determining eligibility for Springboard the term unemployed also includes people who are on short term working and in receipt of a Jobseekers payment from the Department of Social Protection.
    Applications are welcomed from prospective participants who have previously achieved NFQ level 7 or higher, or equivalent work/life experience.

    Costs & allowances: For eligible participants this programme is free-of-charge. Under the Department of Social Protection Part-Time Education Option (PTEO) scheme, or with the One Parent Family Payment, participants may retain payments as long as you meet conditions attached to these payments.
    Application closing date: August 5th 2011. Applications are welcomed from prospective participants who have previously achieved NFQ level 7 or higher, or equivalent work/life experience.
    Time commitment required: Programme commences October 2011 and is 12 months part-time duration. The WebElevate programme will run for 44 weeks over a year, and will normally require attendance of between two and three evenings a week from 6pm-10pm, and between one and two days per week. Occasional weekend attendance for specific seminars will be required. You would be expected to undertake some personal research and readings in addition to this.
    The course is designed to be flexible in the case of an individual obtaining employment while in the programme, to facilitate the completion of WebElevate.
