I must say, I've prob tried a coffee in each and every shop/deli in the city centre and Mcdonalds coffee (both from McCafe and McDonalds) is the best Ive found by far! Would you agree or have you found any better (for those in a rush)

    That's a sad sign :(

Best take out coffee around is 3FE and/or Coffee Angel, depending on your location.

I stumbled upon this last year and I was astonished to discover how good it was. The first time I thought it was just a mistake so I tried it in another store, delicious again. Whatever about their food I've found their coffee constant and at a high level. I would recommend people try it out. It will surprise you.

Actually, I forgot about Fallon & Byrne if you're over that direction. It's Hasbean coffee too. And they've recently started doing filter. Happy days.

I had a totally overextracted coffee in F&B not so long ago. It was awful. I think, like a lot of busy cafes, the quality depends on who's working at the time.

What method of extraction are they using?

    On the filter?

That's a shame. I hope you went back in and told them.

One of Marco's newer brewers AFAIK
