If you could magically solve, any ‘One’ of the World problems listed, just by wishing it away, which one would it be, and why ?

    Famine

War/Terrorism (Including all current regional conflicts, and that all are resolved, to the satisfaction of all parties concerned)

    Economic Crisis

Pollution (Domestic and Industrial Waste, Radio Active leaks, Pestecides... etc)

    Poverty (Domestic and Foreign)

    Energy

    Atari Paul Daniels

    .

If you could magically solve, any ‘One’ of the World problems, which would it be? 110 votes

If global poverty was solved, it would eliminate most of the problems you listed.

Have cancer become a thing of the past.

Probably have selfish reasons for saying that, but I think a lot of people would like it too.

Nope, what you need is roads. A good infrastructure for trade is pretty much what holds back all poorer countries

All this wishful thinking - end war, end famine end pollution - but then you want to kill the one man, maybe the only man, who has the necessary magic powers to actually achieve these things.

Why don't you think before you post.

Well, it'll involve you, some willing "lady" (I'll use that term, eh, loosely), a camera and some atmospheric lighting. Then it's up to you to produce the goods to the standard you expect for online porn.

Ok, so it won't solve the problem of YOU not having decent porn to look at, but other people might be grateful to you :p

But wouldn't it be in a persons nature, once comfortable, to want a little more?
    Potential for war?

If everyone was in a comfortable position, wouldn't they be consuming more?
    Pollution?

    Possible competition for food?
    Famine?

Getting rid of human greed would fix a lot of things.

After that, getting rid of organised religion should solve the rest of the problems

Edit - out of the list, probably poverty.

Illegal in this country though so thats out of the question. It's the video quality/resolution that is the problem though.

As bad as it sounds, war, famine and disease are the only factors keeping the world population in check.

they are supposed to leave 1m or 3 " on their left and you are supposed to leave them 1m. most roads are tops 3 metres, and most cars 2metres, do the math.

Yeah wanting more is a part of human nature. But if there was no poverty, we might have a better educated population that could use diplomacy instead of war to solve problems.
If everyone was in a comfortable position, wouldn't they be consuming more?
    Pollution?

Poor people have more kids which puts a strain on resources. Poverty is one of the main factors contributing to environmental damage.
    Possible competition for food?
    Famine?

There are more obese people in the world than starving people.

I don't believe this. If there were no poor people there'd be no rich - and you are rich. The default with all the world's wealth evenly distributed would be poverty for all.

It is sad but true, we all need there to be poor and hungry so we can be comfortable.

In resp. of the OP, I'd do away with religious bigotry and racism. And on a lighter note, I'd also do away with feminism :pac:

So you're saying that if their was no poverty, we'd all be in poverty.
