JSA and a few hours work

I haven't worked in about 6 months. I just got a call out of the blue now offering me a few hours work in the morning, covering for a friend on reception in a small company, with the possibility of an odd day here and there in the future. I was delighted and said yes straight away. I presumed if I earn say €40 tomorrow I declare that and my benefits are reduced by that amount next week, or whenever. I really want to do this as it could lead to a real job, but now I'm worried that maybe I will screw up my claim. Do I have to tell SW beforehand, will my benefit be stopped? I'm looking around on the SW website and citizen advice, but I don't have too long as it's in the morning and am afraid I will miss something important and screw this up. Anyone with any thoughts please let me have em! Thanks
