    Hi All,

Currently tiling our bathrooms in a new build. In one particular room we are using a 120cm x 60 cm wall tile. It needs to be cut to fit it around the windows etc.
Problem is we are having difficulty finding a place to hire a tile cutter to deal with such a big tile.
Tried every hire place in longford town today with no success.

Anyone have any idea where we could source one in the general midlands area.

Many thanks for any feedback received.

    Straight edge and a mini-grinder?

Agreed... cheap angle grinder from Lidl did the trick for me.

Straight edge is one we looking for. Neighbour actually has a fireplace centre so could run them in to him but going to be drawn out affair running in few tiles at a time and then making sure they were cut as required!!

+1 on the mini grinder. All you need then is a tile cutting /diamond blade. A grinder will be needed anyway for cutting awkward bits.

    Forget about the tile cutter.
