This could come a little soon for Frampton imo, didn't look great in his last fight.

Tough fight for Frampton. Kiko is just outside the top ten on boxrec and probably the ring as well so everyone will want Frampton if he wins.

Kiko will be a good test for Carl. Kiko is tough, can throw many shots and has a good chin. Is he world class? No. Carl thinks so though. But, at this point in Carl's career he is a good step up. If Frampton's chin is good he can beat this guy.

He's more than a good test imo. I agree Kiko isnt world class but he is top of the euro pile and just outside the world top ten. Ive no doubt Carl is a better boxer than Kiko but the Spaniard has much more experience with several tough 12 rounders under his belt.
I see this been 12 rounds of solid action, both men respecting each others power but at the same time setting up their own power punches with crafty combos!

Great card, I'd go to this if I'm not already gone to Korea...

    ^Agree

I also think with the right match up Martinez is capable of winning a world title.
People underestimate him now in my opinion. He's seem as a one trick pony of sorts, who struck gold the night he beat Dunne. He's been looking very good recently. I would say he's a more formidable opponent than Prescott is for Mccloskey.

Interesting comparison with Prescott. I think that is a very dangerous fight for Paul. One thing is certain and that is that Kiko comes to fight, and fight hard. He throws a lot of shots with power.

That is a hell of an undercard fight. What are Kiko's weaknesses? From the few minutes I seen he looked like a powerful awkward handful. I know people rank him generally as being average. Can he box to a top 10 standard?
Frampton I'v liked since I first seen him, this will really boost his profile if he gets the win. Physically two very similar fighters, short n powerful.

Brilliant undercard fight. This is an excellent double header. It's a pick em fight. If it was a year from now, I'd strongly favour Frampton but his inexperience could come into play. Kiko is off the back of a career best performance and has changed his style. His a lot more patient and has displayed some decent boxing skills. This is a different Kiko to the one that sparked out Dunne and lost to Munroe.

But on the positive side of things, I think Carl's style matches up well with Kiko. I'm really excited about this. :D
