Does anyone know if the Irish Open draw sheet is available yet?

Planning on going up from Cork on the Friday but want to spend time at the range watching the usual suspects.

You might want to get a compass as well, Killarney is south of Cork, so that would mean you are travelling down not up, unless of course you are taking the long way around:D.

Killarney is actually north of Cork latitude wise.

I see that the golf is due to finish at 4.45pm on Sunday so that means the leaders will be going out ~12.45pm,which is far too early in my mind.

It's very nice holding the tournament around Ireland , but could we have it back in Dublin soon, once in twenty years now. I'm not sure the attendances outside of Dublin have lived up to the Idea. But I guess Portmarnock is the only option, and the boys don't like their rough , roughed up.

Well carton, k club and Druids Glen are within a short hop of Dublin , I'd love another chance of a day trip to the golf.

I will let the European Tour know you want a lie in and to change their plans

Killarney had great attendances last year.

I do not want a lie in,its just that starting a final round at 12.45 is frankly ridiculous.
What time do the leaders go out in any of the majors or big tournaments ?
2pm at the earliest should be the final tee off time,it gives people a chance to commute to the venue and see other groups before the leaders tee off.

Just leave an hour earlier......

And this isn't a major. It isn't even a big tournament. They were given their tv slot and it's either play during that or else not have it on tv at all.

Think they should have put the amateurs with better players imo.

    Any reason why?

And tbf, the quality of players is extremely thin this year.

Heading down Friday morning hoping to get there about 9am so may follow Darren Clarke for a few holes but want to follow GMAC as I didn't get to see him last year as I couldn't make it, might also spend some time at the range.

Anyone down there give free lessons you think????:D:D:D

Oh ya and to the guy who said attendances outside of Dublin aren't great, Killarney last year had 82,000(second highest attended event on the Euro Tour) and this year they are expecting it to exceed 90,000 if the weather holds!!

More than likely the reason is a lot of players will have to get back up to Dublin after for flights, some to Cork and Shannon.

These are things they actually think about when organising events. Anyway 12.45 is a grand time, playing at 8.30 on Sunday so hopefully get in to see the leaders tee off.

The reason for this was probably got to do with the WGC event next week.

Leaders off at 1:25 on Saturday
    First out at 7:50.

So 7:10 start on Sunday going by your leaders tee time.

I'll be there nice and early so
