    Hi all,

Did a quick search of the forum but couldn't really see anything on this problem.
Basically i bought a pair of BOSE QC-2 second hand about 9 months ago. Worked perfectly til about one month ago when the red light wouldn't turn on. Tried numerous brands of batteries and still cant get a peep out of it! I've read a few cases of this online, just wondering has any Boardsie had the same problem? Is there anywhere to get them Repaired ( im in Waterford).

I've e-mailed BOSE.ie about them, but they've been asking me for the serial number(which i cant see printed on the headphones) and i wasn't supplied with any warranty details when i bought them. They haven't gotten back to me as of yet.

    Any Ideas?
    Cheers

    Hi Sarah!
Greetings! Have a same problem with my qc2 once bought at adverts.ie. Fortunately the cans was broken when I went to the states specifically in Houston. So I went to the Bose store to claim an upgrade program which cost 110 usd but the sales representative didn't allowed me to avail an upgrade of my broken qc2 for a qc15 for the mere reason that it didn't came with serial numbers( a White sticker with serial numbers on it) usually found inside the right earcup of qc2.So to make a long story short I called Bose USA and was very helpful with the transaction even asking for apologies for the hassle that I had experienced in the Bose store. It arrived 4 days in my place in the states and done all the question and answer portion thru phone as they want to make sure that the qc2 that you are describing is the genuine one. My advise to you is ring Bose Ireland (numbers in their website and they are based in Monaghan just to let u know) ask them if they will do upgrades or repair of your qc2. They will channel you to a rep. That will ask you to describe the unit as it's color, when and where did you acquired it( tell them u received it as a gift 2 years ago brand new). If they don't have an upgrade program just give it to a friend or relative who is bound to the states and swapped it there for 110 usd tax inclusive. Hope my experienced will help you! Peace out!

    John
