If I were a lady I'd think 'this guy is above average intelligence, devilishly handsome and has a big unmentionable...also very smooth'.

    That's just if I was a bird...

why would you shave your underwear?

If you can read this, you're too close!

i keep down there nice, tidy and short, have used the GFs veet a few times too, just think that its nicer!

plus if your are in the majority of guys who prefer a woman to be tidy/shave down there you should do the same too! goose gander metaphor is quite apt here me thinks

I wouldn't like it to be honest.

It's meant to be there... but in saying that I don't go around with hairy ape legs etc myself.

It's too childish for my liking. And it doesnt help it look any bigger, sorry to ruin the dream :p

Little boys are bare, grown men have hair!!

But I am a woman who likes men with hairy chests etc anyways so I could be a bit biased.

I prefer it not shaved but if my fella ever took the notion to do it It wouldn't be the end of the world, as long as it's not a jungle down there I'm quite happy :):)

Their black lacy knickers? Why would a man shave a pair of pants? Oh, OP you're so re-donkulous.

    Not for me.

My ex did it once and I thought he looked like a shaved poodle down there. Turned me right off.

i voted yes cause i assumed it was trimming, not shaving. i know, duh. shaved would be crazy weird. trimmed though yes. you'd be surprised how many don't

Still a lot of chicks that don't do it either.

I voted no because it is one of my fetishes. Really love a full bush down below on a man. It does so much for me.

Ah you could have told me that before I shaved it all up and left it looking like the last chicken in Tescos  :p

Btw why are they my 'unmentionables'? I like to mention them as often as possible :(

I trim the bush (it looks very alien and odd without any hair) but I shave the actual majigger itself and also the liathroidi. Looks fantastic :D

Where is the poll option for people who prefer to play on the Atari Jaguar than with their manhood?

    Flawed poll is flawed.

Personally, I trim every now and then a bit.

Ah stop, don't be gross! :(

It just doesnt look right IMO. My beautician and I had a discussion about women who wax it all off a while ago and she said, in her experience, the women mainly get it done to please their partners. I doubt these women would do it for themselves anyways, getting waxed down there is seriously painful!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,737 ✭✭✭✭kylith

I voted either/or, but my preference is for unshaved. It's not that shaved looks weird, it's the stubble that's a killer. No girl wants her bits sandpapered.

I call bullsh!t. you think they shave/wax their legs and armpits for their partners too?

Then your beautician is crap because any girl I know that gets it done says it only hurts for the first maybe 2 sessions and then it's ok.

Calm down Smash, thats just what she said to me, I didnt ask them myself personally!

I shave my legs/armpits for myself, the same as I get my bikini line waxed for myself, and years on (and different beauticians later!) it still hurts regardless!! Maybe waxing affects each individual differently or maybe all the girls you know are really hardcore! :p

Here's an idea, why don't you get your unmentionables waxed every 4weeks for the next six months and then come back and tell us all how easy it is!!!!

I don't shave my legs and armpits for myself, I do it so that if people see my legs/armpits I don't look like King Kong. In the case of my bikini line, I get it done for people if I'm going to be in my bikini, but I get it done for my partner for day to day niceness. Obviously over time you get so used to it that it feels cleaner/more convenient to wax it regularly, but the main drive is social acceptance.

It only hurts excruciatingly the first few times, then it's only a bit painful, but it's never a completely pain-free experience. It can be nice, but it's nice + pain. Also, things you hear from girls in general conversation can't be used as fact against someone who has actually done it.

Agreed! Prefer calling the unmentionables a b0ll0cks, myself.

I like men as natural as possible love a hairy man but nothing wrong with a little tidy up and waxing does hurt it just becomes more bearable with time
