Selling 2 cars to buy 1....insurance consequences?

    We're thinking of selling 2 cars to buy 1 that deal's almost done.

    Wife with me named as the driver transfers onto the new car.

    My own policy is cancelled.
    • if we revert to a second car in the future is my previous No Claims Discount of any use to me?

    If you revert within two years then yes.

    Every two years change around insurance eg first year wife main driver you named driver then next year you main driver with wife named driver that way you both keep full no claim bonus and both are still in system full time
