If you were to lose one of your senses...

    which would you miss most?.

Background, I've had the mother and father of colds this week which has left my head totally blocked up and my hearing is all but gone.

But I can still see the beautiful things around me, I can walk down the pavement without bumping into poles & people (yes, I know Poles are people too and I'm racist).

I think I could do without my sense of taste, I enjoy food of course but the only things I'd miss is a rare steak and a vindaloo - and the taste of a fresh waxed and showered pussy.

My hearing, well I love my music but the older I get the less I want to hear the BS people speak around me, so that wouldn't be the worse of 'em..

    Yours?

if you lose your smell you lose most of your taste (but i'd still pick it)

You wouldn't be able to taste a lot of things without smell either, but I agree it's the most dispensible one by far. Would still suck not to have it though!

Sight would be the one I'd miss most though.

Look at life as the giant farce that it really is and laugh. Don't care too much. It works for me.

I have trouble with my sense of reality already. It's okay when it comes and goes, but I'd miss it if it were to go completely...

Sex would be pretty crap if one lost one's sense of touch...

Taste or smell. Cant decide so i would just flip a coin.

you're a leper if you loose your sense of touch I think

If most of us woke up tomorrow with no sense of smell we probably would notice until we ate something tasty.

If I had to lose one, it would have to be my 6th.

    Taste for me :)
I wouldn't miss it really, It'd help with weight loss and my unnatural aversion to fruit and veggies (I'm a freak I know but they make me gag :P )

My sense of fashion. It has failed me miserably for years.

It would have to be eyesight.

Surely loss of vision would have the greatest impact on ones life.

i wouldn't mind losing my speech, don't talk much anyway so it wouldn't bother me as much as losing my sight would

Perhaps the title could be edited to reflect either one question or the other?

    My sense of fair play.

All you people sacrificing your sense of smell - you're going to lose vital part of sexual attraction and the ability to detect food that might kill you. Mind you, you might be dead after the first fire, gas leak or chemical spill anyway.

I think I'd lose taste. As a smoker, sure I can barely taste anything anyway.

I'd go with taste...due to medical bull**** i'm on a really restrictive diet and can no longer eat any of the stuff i really ****ing liked and most of what i eat tastes either really bland or kind of like ass...so yeah, taste.

I can still smell nice things though...and i have learned to enjoy that quite a bit, like walking into the bakery up the road and taking a bit deep nose full of awesome before i have to go and buy all my bland ass food.

I value eyesight and hearing pretty highly due to my musical stuff and i wouldn't want to lose touch because ****ing is awesome.
