Twould be great for lads startin off and those with young inexperieced dogs - I've always found its much easier to train a pup when they can work with more experieced dogs:)

i am in the process of training a pup meself and i have a gwp who needs a bit of polishing.. gets rusty outta season my fault entirely.. if the interest is there speak up and be counted... obviously we'd have to put a wee bit of thought into field work training ie segregation of pointing breeds etc but i couldnt see it presenting a problem, am based in laois also.

as afar as permissions are concerned id imagine all members would have to have their own insurance and all involved would have to be able to get access to land.. we aint talkin major acres here, it wouldnt be fair if the venues were left to the same couple of ppl all the time.. most ppl that shoot are either part of a club or have permission.. and

You could do it in public parks! Or even public forest parks, water training on canals or public lakes. I take you aren't bring the shottie so ideal place for training work. I've done all my water training on our local canal with no bother at all.

If you want to start it then you should make an attempt :D
