Frank Jez on FM104

Does anyone ever listen to Frank Jez Big Urban mix on FM104? I have to say it's the best hip hop / RnB music I've ever heard in Ireland. The guy doesn't say a word (which is great and really modest of him), plays the best, most soulful tunes, and mixes in the tracks and samples from other tracks. I really hope he never loses his show, because I'm a regular and grateful listener, nothing better than driving on a weekend between 6-7 blasting out the tunes, especially in the summer.

OK, I realise I may have written this in a poor fashion, but just wanted to say my piece!

it's a wonder Frank Jez doesn't have more than an hour on saturday and sunday, his shows are really good especially when he does the new years eve shows, if i was 104 i'd have him on for a few hours on a saturday night or something

He used to do a 3 hour show on a Friday and it was one of the best shows id ever heard. The only show ive ever gone out of my way to listen too. Song choice and mixing was always out of this world.
It always surprised me when they axed it. Now they have the phone show on which id go out of my way to turn off.

+1 on the Frank Jez stuff! It's a great show, but I always feel it's a little out of place where it is. It goes from the usual 104 playlist to an hour of Frank, back to the 104 playlist.

If I were in charge, I'd definitely look at doing something different on a Saturday night. Maybe move Freaks on Friday to Saturday (yeah it'd prob need a name change) and give Frank another hour, thus making a sort of 6-11pm FM104 Xtra for a Saturday Night, as I don't know if the usual 104 playlist is always upbeat enough for a Saturday evening.

Fantasy radio station stuff or wha!!!

Definitely agree with you mate fm104 need to liven up Saturday nights, a lot of other stations play dance music at this time. I think they should keep Freaks on Friday where it is and stick Frank Jez on 7-12 Saturday nights. I know he doesn't do live links but when most people are out and about mostly listening in taxis people won't really mind and will definitely enjoy it more.

FM104 seem to be intent on being the Dublin station playing the usual pop stuff on a Saturday evening. Spin 1038, 2FM and 98FM all have dance on, so they seem to have that part of the market cornered.
