picturesgoneillHi ladies and gents. I have just been given 2 old watches and iam looking for help to find out are they worth anything and if they are where wouid be the best place to sell them. The first 1 is a SEIKO. It has seiko auto written on the face and i have the guarantee which has 17 12 1975 stamped on it.the watch has some wear and tear on it but still works. Watch num 2 has DUGENA MATIC written on the face and it also has 25 rubis written on the bottom of the face i have no paper work for this watch but iam guessing it is from the early 70s.It still works perfect and again has some wear on it. I have posted some pics of them both and wouid be grateful of any info. Thanks

Hard to give any info based on those pictures to be honest.

If you want to sell them the fist thing to do is figure out how much they are worth.
Look for similar ones on ebay to give an idea.
Then clean then up as best you can and take some tantalising high quality pictures.
You can then stick them up on adverts and see if anyone bites.
Or put them up for auction on ebay and let the market decide.
    Good luck!

I have no clue what the OP's most recent post on his five year old thread is about. Sat on phone in pocket? Anyway, the Seiko is a standard mechanical model from them. Not popular in gold plate, easier to sell in steel. Fifty quid on a good day with a following wind. The Dugena is a german company who put their name on watches of all levels of quality, but rarely more than midrange. Again not so popular in gold plate and again I'd say fifty quid tops on a very good day. My humble anyway. If the watches are still around. Me I'd wear them from time to time TBH.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
