Can't send SMS to TG4 competition number!

Yesterday was trying to txt 51844, TG4 competition on the Tour de France show. Made 2 or 3 attempts but kept getting . Sent a test txt to a friend who was here at the time and it came on straight away. I'm with Meteor. SEEMS to be Meteor problem, sent a txt both from Voda and O2 SIM, after my Meteor refused to send.

Same happens to me while trying to enter with Today FM. I can get through no problem while there's no competition on. Have you tried that, just to see? It might be that the lines are under alot of pressure ..
