engine swap corolla?

    hey folks

    I have a 96 ae101 corolla 1.3 xli for 10 years no problems other then normal wear and tear. so head gasket went last week and its roasted. either il get the head done or i was thinking about putting something bigger, possibly newer into it. does anyone have any experiance in swapping these engines? are the mountings etc different for the 1.6 or 1.8? maybe even a 20v or vvti if possible? any thoughts anyone?
