More like a week and a half. Starts today (Thurs 21st) and runs to Monday August 1st. Green fees are €15.

    Order of events is here.

A good country course and always a great atmosphere in the clubhouse

Ya, I'm down that neck of the woods next week and am playing there Tuesday. What's it like Kevin, nice track?

It's never going to be mentioned in the top tier of courses, but what I like about Enniscorthy is its friendliness - both in terms of the course and the clubhouse. It's just a fun place to play golf and there are a few very good holes (16 is my favourite).

A nice course in good order any time I've played it, enjoyable.
Hate the first (a par 3 to start, yuck) but the finishing stretch is pretty decent.

Why are promoting certain open weeks??

    You ever play Grange?

Cheers Licksy, I'm not a big fan of starting with a Par 3 either to be honest. It's another course to cross the list of courses played anyway!!

Why not - no harm in promoting different golf clubs and their Open Weeks - it's usually a good time to get reduced green fees too

And there's my home course of Greystones too! But would you rather start or end with a par three?

Neither if I had my way Kevin!! I don't know what it is but I din't like to start or finish on a par 3. It's not a deal breaker or anything, but it just doesn't feel right to me.

Think I've only ever started on one once (Enniscorthy) and finished on one twice (Courtown, Forest of Arden) and while finishing on one is a little strange, starting on one is alien!

That Forest of Arden 18th is a brute isn't it? I played with a guy who couldn't reach the green and put every ball in his bag in the water.
