    Hi all

Okay so here is my situation:
I'm going to a wedding this weekend and I left the dress I was going to wear in at the cleaners last weekend. Send a friend to pick it up yesterday and it is ruined. Big white patches throughout the dress :(

I'm gutted as it is a dress I bought for my brothers wedding last summer and it obviously meant alot to me.

So I have managed to get off work earlier today so I can beat the traffic and hit the shops.

Any suggestion where I might pick something up?

bummer, I hope the dry cleaners has compensated you? Its a good time to buy a dress though-all the shops have sales the usual suspects like Karen Millen, Coast, Monsoon should have something. Also a couple of nice dresses in oasis-they have a satin fiited dress in coral or green- its down to something like 37 euros in the sale

Thanks you for your post Jadie.
To say I am uppset really is an understatement and to be left so unprepared so close to the wedding really is a complete nightmare.
The only thing that I am thankful for is that it is not a family wedding or I really would be in complete bits.

I'm hoping to get the dress and all the bits & pieces this evening - what are the chances really :(

One of my colleagues also mentioned Karen Millen to me so that will be my first stop.

So sorry to hear about your dress.

Hope you managed to get everything you needed yesterday. It really is surprising how quickly you can put an outfit together when time is short. Last year I ended up going to a black tie event at the last minute - I literally had about 24 hours notice - and managed to pick up a really nice dress and accessories in about 3 hours! And what's more, I received compliments about the dress all night! :)

    Enjoy the wedding!
