Car seat buckle broken

    Hi Folks,

Hoping someone can give me a bit of advise here or maybe share some experiences.

I've recently bought a '06 Ford Focus ST. I'm hopelessly in love with the car but there's 1 major flaw which I was aware of when I bought it. On the driver seat there's an issue with the "buckles" that hold the seatonto the rails it's mounted on. From what I can see there are 4 buckles that attached the seat to the rails. 2 up front and 2 in the back. The left back one is sheered through.

I'm going to drop by summerhill spares after work to see if I can pick up this particular piece or what the situation is.

But does anybody have any advise/experiences with something like that? I suppose my question is will I be able to replace this part myself or am I looking at buying a new seat?
