HELP PLEASE, ANYONE HEARD OF THIS

    looking for help from somebody PLEASE. friend of ours was admitted to hospital last friday after a very heavy nose bleed thursday night, she has 1 platelet despite two lots after being given to her. Body is not building them up. she is covered from head to toe with bruises, nose continuing to bleed and graduallyy day by day she is fading in front of our eyes. ITP has been mentioned and although she has all the symptoms she is not responding to medication, steroids and antibiotics. The consultants in the hospital are arguing about what to do and basically we feel that they haven't a clue. Her eyes are now turning yellow and they have found abnormalities in bone marrow but don't know if it is leukemia. CAN ANYONE PLEASE GIVE US SOME ADVICE BEFORE WE LOSE HER, we know that ppl on this are not qualified doctors just want to know if anyone has ever experienced aything similar to this and to just give us some sort of hope

    This forum is more geared towards fitness, anyways, even though no advise is been asked for, it's a red flag post driven by emotion that's best off locked.
