Just wondering if anybody knows if there is any afro-Caribbean hairdresser anywhere in Ireland? Specifically afro-Caribbean not African as my wife's hair is a different ball game to african...different chemicals need to be used on it to straighten it etc.
She travels back & forth to the UK whenever it needs doing, anywhere in Ireland would be a good help!
    Thanks!

What is meant by this "a different ball game to african" i have never had such a remark and yet your partner is afro-Caribbean,just curious have never heard this requirement for "different chemicals".

Still I sympathise there is still a woeful gap in provision for the needs of African and Afro Caribbean communities esp in areas like hairdressing,a gap in the market in this economic times !

There used to be one in Galway down around the University Hospital on the other side of the road. I haven't been down around there in a few years so not sure if it's still there.
