Central locking and electric windows stopped working at same time???

    The car is a 2001 Audi A4 (B6). All fuses are ok. The central locking wont work on the drivers door. The electric windows wont work on any window or from any button. Any ideas? I know someone has had this problem before.

    Check the loom going into the door hasn't been cut by a thief.

    It could also have worn itself. Either way, check drivers door loom

    On a hunch I disconnected the Battery for 10 seconds, then reconnected it (pulling the fuse didn't work for some reason) It worked. That was a week ago, still going strong. Realistically I'm sure it'll happen again.
