PS3 still down July11???

Hi i have forgotten my network password and have been trying to get ps3 support to send me a new one for the last three days but their site seems to be under constant maintenence what is the story??

If you click on forgot password it still says it's down for maintenance, it's like they forgot to put that bit of the site back up or something.

Same thing happened to me but if you log out of the network using your ps3 and then try and log back in you can select forgot password, you can then answer security questions/dob etc. and reset your password this way. Took me awhile to figure this out as I was automatically logged in but couldn't put money into my account, I was afraid to log out in case I wouldn't be able to log in again:o

No I just changed the password using the playstation as stated above, it's all sorted now. The OP can do the same if they want without having to call them.

I doubt calling will help, it's not like they can set a password for you, has to be done by the account holder.
