Has anyone used a SAGEMCOM RTI90-500 T2HD FREEVIEW HD RECEIVER, 500GB HDD on Saorview. I have been looking for a PVR with a manual timer as well as a EPG. It seem to be one of the few with a Daily, Weekly and Monthly timer. I have tried a Sony SVR-HDT 500 but it has no facillity to set weekly recordings only specific dates and the series link does not appear on Saorview stations.(See my earlier review). I live in south east Dublin and have a good digital signal from a attic aerial

I have a foxsat for uk stations and its great but I was looking at the terrestrial HDR FOX T2 it seems only to have EPG and no weekly record feature. The sagamcom is the only one to mention weekly, daily recordings in its specs

Why not try Sam Russell's box for Saorview. Only €45.00 + postage and can record to usb.

Yes it records using the entry on the EPG to set the times. The user can then alter them as they see fit. It can scedule Daily, Weekly, Once. Then you can set it as a reminder [Watch] or record [Record]. It will wake up from stand-by, or will switch to the desired channel from a different channel. It is then possible to change back (if it the same mux).

    Cheap too!
