Replacement key for Passat

    I've lost the key to my 04 Passat. How do I go about getting a replacement and any ideas as to the dreaded cost of replacing it?

    bring yourself and your drivers liscense along with the vlc of you car to your local vw agrage make sure the car is in your name or the garage wont even entertain you and about €80 for a standard key or €250 for a remote key
    They can usually have for you in a couple of days

    Thanks for that. Think I'll go with the cheaper option and hope that the lost one turns up.
