To be fair if they were sentimental items I don't think she would have forgotten them, I know things like this happen but still.

I do hope she gets them back. You'd like to think there's a bit of decency in everyone, enough to return them at least.

I doubt the insurance company would pay out in these circumstances

If they're so sentimental to her then surely no cash can replace them or ease the loss?

According to that she had those pieces for 30 years, she was lucky it was only old stuff.

She left them on the roof of the car and drove off

she must have had a few:cool:

Seems a bit strange that, after getting into the car and closing the door on your hand, you'd step out of the car to remove your jewellery.

Edit - I see she was getting into the car when she hit her hand...makes a bit more sense I suppose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,696 ✭✭✭thesimpsons

but would you not sit into the car to rest your hand and take off the rings. sounds odd to me.

Because she is Celia Holman Lee, who along with a certain small clique in Limerick like to think and act like they are stars, to be fawned at by the great unwashed masses.

The funny thing is that their equivalent of Hello Magazine is a free weekly rag largely composed of advertising and death notices.

Easy to think you are a big fish in a small pond.

Allegedly of course. And allegedly not a random bloke but a fairly well known business name.

Allegedly a member of centre management of that shopping centre went and warned staff in some stores that they were not to make any comment on that alleged happening, and allegedly a security guard/centre employee was not so honest in terms of taking a copy of some camera stills.

Allegedly of course, which is why no names and no company names can be mentioned. But I am sure that people who work/worked in any of the stores that were allegedly told to keep quiet may remember it from circa 2005/2006.
