    Hi,
We are flying this Saturday and have pre booked one checked bag.Do we just check in at the desk and drop bag there or do we check in with one.of those Aer Lingus screens that prints the boarding cards and then go to the bag drop?

    Appreciate any help.

If your checking in a bag you go to the desk.

You can check in online or use the automated check-in desks and then bring your bag to a bag-tag and drop desk.

Advantage of checking in online is that if you haven't already paid extra to preselect your seats, you can select them at no extra cost at the time of checking in and have a decent selection of seats to boot!

Thanks mike, I do note on their website though that Aer Lingus only allow you to use the Advance Check In online if you pre assign (ie pay for!) your seats.

Advance check in is an extra alright, however, I was talking about standard online check-in which can be done from 30 hours before departure at no additional charge.
