I am looking to buy a wardrobe or chest of drawers cheap enough. I was looking through the argos book to get some ideas. I quite like this:

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/6302427/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+and+furniture%7C14417894/c_2/3%7Ccat_15701148%7CBedroom+furniture%7C14418001.htm

But argos doesn't do home delivery on that item.

My question is would anyone know where i can buy it online? Or something similar with similar prices? I searched google and can't seem to find any where.

I thought il try here to see if anyone might know. Or something similar with similar prices? Thanks.

Its flatpacked, and it will fit into the back of a car, with the back seats down and just tie off the tailgate or boot.

    Job done.

Hi HardLuckWoman...have you thought about secondhand furniture?? You can pick up nice pieces sometimes at good prices and you could look in whatever place/location suits you...and sometimes it can be better quality than flatpacks.

While Paddy147 is right about the items in argos coming in flatpack, flatpacks can be very heavy to lift and move and put together...you may need a hand or two to help you out. Also, flatpacks are cheap for a reason - they're usually just chipboard/mdf with wood veneer....grand for something fast to put up but sometimes you can find good quality pre-owned real wood pieces online that will stand the test of time!!

If you're interested in secondhand/pre-used furniture, You could try adverts.ie, donedeal.ie, freetradeireland.ie, jumbletown.ie, buyandsell, and if you're in Dublin - dublinwaste.ie... recycling and upcycling are on trend at the moment;) so remember that you can paint old furniture and add new handware like handles for a new, individual look...

    Best of luck with it:)

I'd love to get one second hand, so il keep an eye on those websites and see if anything comes up.

Its the delivery thats the problem. I have no transport. Which is why i cant buy it in argos.

Well there may be ways around the no transport thing... firstly if you have a friend who drives, you could ask them in return for petrol money and lunch? Or sometimes the seller may deliver if you ask, again maybe in return for petrol money...

And there is van and man which is basically a man who has a van and will pick up and deliver items...I've no idea of how much they cost/charge as I've never used one but here are a few on google:

    www.vanmaneire.com/courier-ireland
    www.manandvan24-7.com/Man-And-A-Van

Hope the above is of some help - best of luck with the search :)

PS - Sorry LINKS aren't working - have to copy and paste...sorry
